Korea: Isn't it just like China?

Actually, nothing could be further from the truth.  Korea has been an independent civilization for nearly as long as the Western hemisphere has been inhabited. It’s safe to say that Korea has its own unique flavour. 

If you’ve ever entertained the thought of hitting Asia as a travel destination, why not check out South Korea?  Korean cities enjoy a rare sense of safety that you can't find in many other big cities. Even the Korean word for "hello" - "Ahn yeong haa say yo" - directly translates to "Are you at peace?" So stop by for a few days to check out the safe culture, rich history and centuries-old traditional customs.

Despite its deep-rooted traditions, Korea also keeps up with the here and now.  If you enjoy the performing arts, Seoul is a great place to be.  Although New York is all the rave when considering theatre, Seoul boasts some of the most elaborate performances you’ll see anywhere in the world, and you’d be hard-pressed to find any thumbs-down reviews. The Seoul Arts Theatre is undoubtedly the best venue, and you can easily browse its English website for current and upcoming shows.
