“Think pink! Think pink when you shop for summer clothes.” The Spring 2010 Barbie by David Dixon collection was created from the essence of “Think pink!” from the 1957 flick Funny Face. And think pink is exactly what David Dixon did. There are pink blouses, blazers, dresses and skirts.

GLOSS loves the double-breasted buttons on the coats and the vibrant and conservative looks but there is one thing inherently missing from the designs – Barbie. You know, the gal the collection was designed after! Not a single piece left me as giddy as playing with the plastic Mattel wonder that monopolized my childhood. The collection is nice – it’s just not Barbie!
