Sporty Swimwear at the Maritime Campus Store

A Quinpool Road staple since 1965, the Maritime Campus Store in Halifax, Nova Scotia is known for the best selection of swimwear east of Montreal. Regardless of the season, this store packs a full selection of beach and poolside attire every month of the year. Brand names include Canadian labels such as Baltex, TYR, Christina and Louis Garneau as well as many other familiar brands such as Jantzen, Nike, and Speedo. Styles range from trendy two-pieces to durable athletic one-piece suits for both men and women.
           
“One piece suits are very hot,” says store owner Louise Reidel. “Old Glamour is very chic as well as the mono kini which sports cutouts in just the right places.”
           
Although the one-piece is making a splash this season, the two-piece is hard to ignore with beautiful embellishments, frills, and ‘80s-inspired neon colors mixed with deep chocolate browns.
           
To complement the selection is a knowledgeable staff waiting to make the best match between body and suit in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
