Shout Out Out Out Out

Who knew Edmonton would be the birthing place of a band this cool? Shout Out Out Out Out makes the music you want to hear when you’re sweaty and drunk on a crowded dance floor at one in the morning. Two drummers, four bass players, two samplers, five synthesizers, and one vocoder split by six Albertans give you one persistent dance beat filtered with rock guitar sounds and hypnotically hollow vocals.

Formed in 2004, the band released their first album, Not Saying/Just Saying, in 2006 under its own record label, Nrmls Wlcm Records. The album was nominated for “Alternative Album of the Year” at this year’s Junos, and the foot-stompin’ single “Dude You Feel Electrical” left scuff marks on dance floors from New York City to Los Angeles.

Shout Out Out Out Out just wrapped up a tour of the West Coast this spring and will take its sexy, robotic sounds over to the East Coast for the summer.
