GETTING EVEN

Whether you’re sporting black-winged liner or scarlet red lips, no makeup look appears polished unless you’re starting with an even landscape of skin. Much to our chagrin, beloved makeup artist Dick Page isn’t on our speed dial to mask our imperfections, but we’ve found a way to mimic his renowned artistry.

While in New York for Fashion Week, Page worked his magic at the Marc Jacobs show, creating his signature perfect complexions. Aside from his godly touch, Page and his team were seen using and touting the Beautyblender sponge.

The elliptical-shaped pink sponge is like the long lost paramour to your favourite foundation. First of all, it won’t sop up liquid like most sponges do. Second, the smooth edges are ideal for blending, so you’ll be free of harsh lines that are tough to blend on areas like the jaw line. And lastly, your skin will glow with a near airbrush-like finish.  Trust us; it’s you’ll be amazed at the flawless results it yields.

And in keeping with staying green, check out the Blendercleanser, an eco-friendly solution that extends the life of your cleanser and keeps bacteria at bay.

Beautyblender and Blendercleanser, available at Holt Renfrew and www.beautyblender.net.
