An Italian experience

On February 13, the Canadian Film Centre transformed Kool Haus into an Italian experience for the 2008 Gala and Auction in Toronto. Guests were treated to Italy's sights, sounds and the powerful cinematic history of the 40s, 50s, and 60s, as they dined on a four-course gourmet dinner prepared by world renowned Via Allegro Ristorante.

The event was hosted by Rick Mercer, best selling author and host of CBC Television's Rick Mercer Report. Live entertainment was provided by the hot new musical quartet, Quattro. Event attendees included the likes of Nelly Furtado, Ashley Leggat, Michael Seate, and Jeanne Beker.
