While second installments often fail to deliver (Speed 2, Basic Instinct 2, par example), we've been sold on the latest range of delectable and surprisingly flattering shades of Cargo Plantlove Lipsticks. After the wild popularity following of last year’s celebrity picked shades, the Canadian brand went for a second round, like sheer cherries, soft pinks and shimmering golds. While the original launch included actresses like Evangeline Lilly and Lindsay Lohan, this collection features inspirations from celebrity moms like Denise Richards, Angie Harmon and Kim Raver.

Don't worry about prepping with lip balm, because the lipsticks are filled with moisturizing ingredients like meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba. They're also devoid of harsh parabens, mineral oils, and petroleum.
If you happen to lose the case by accident (because we know you'd never litter), you can rest your anxious green soul because the tube is made from polylactic acid, a polymer derived from actual corn.

The grainy texture of the box is constructed of biodegradable flower paper, infused with actual flower seeds that, when moistened and planted, will bloom wild flowers.
We're particularly fond of the creamy mauve shade called "Faith," for it's flush of natural-looking colour and smooth, matte finish.
