Though The Friendly Thai is not exactly a diamond in the rough, it will accommodate an all-around great dining experience. There are several of these restaurants peppered throughout Toronto, and they’re no stranger to those who enjoy a Canadian spin on Thai and Malaysian cuisine. But this one in particular possesses a bit of a unique atmosphere for a substantial dinner any evening of the week. The friendly staff, soft lighting, and great selection of dishes are what makes this place especially delightful and worth the trip.
