Pretty as a peacoat!

It’s that time again. The days are getting shorter, the air is getting cooler and the fall/winter wardrobe is creeping out from the back of the closet. It’s back to layering and the all-important winter coat. No stranger to important responsibilities, the coat must keep you warm, comfortable, and must make a great first impression.

It's a season for us all to indulge in a coat.  Not only is there a vast selection available, but typical classics have been re-worked into more flattering shapes. The colours for the season can reveal so much about our personalities; from bright reds to cobalt blues, there are plenty to choose from. If the trend in RTW seems to be more understated this fall, then outer-wear seems to be where shapes, volume and colour can really make a statement. It’s a pricier purchase, but a good investment. A beautiful coat will set the tone for a beautiful winter wardrobe; it’s a statement of style at first glance.
