For the avid coffee table book readers, the ones who grew up watching Full House, or any aspiring fashionista, Influence by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will take you on a literary journey through their lives, but also the lives of the people they worship.
The 272 page hardcover book, already out in stores, is featured with one version of Mary-Kate on the cover and Ashley on the back, and another version where they swap positions. The girl’s sole intention of writing their book was to discover all the people who inspire or have inspired them, but mainly to share what inspires the people who they interviewed. Interviewees like Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von Furstenberg, John Galliano, Christian Louboutin, various photographers, models like Lauren Hutton and others in the industry sat down with the two to have personal conversations and discussions.
"We interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others," quoted from Mary Kate in an interview. Ashley said, "We have filled Influence with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know – the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation."
