New York, New York

New York City is a city of dreams and literally, never sleeps. With so much to see and do, one may wonder where to begin? Check out this short guide of must-haves, best ofs, and favorites and you’re sure (if you haven’t already) fall in love with what the city of Manhattan has to offer.

Places to Stay

Some ultra chic, although pricey places to stay: 60 Thompson http://www.60thompson.com/, The Bryant Park Hotel, http://www.bryantparkhotel.com/, or The Paramount Hotel Times Square http://www.nycparamount.com/.

Best Place to Eat

To satisfy your sweet tooth, you must visit http://www.magnoliacupcakes.com/ and try one of their delicious cupcakes. For a taste of Italy try http://babbonyc.com/restaurant.html, and for a classic New York treat, you must go to Gray’s Papaya for the cheapest and best hotdog you will ever eat.

Things to Do

There are hundreds of things to see and do, depending on the length of your travels. Some of my favorites:

Where to Shop

Being one of the best places to shop in the world, and one of the fashion capitals; go to New York and indulge. Shop 5th Avenue for a pair of every girl’s dream, Manolos, visit Marc Jacob’s block and shop in Greenwich Village, travel to Soho to see the trendiest of boutiques and designer’s flagship stores. Lastly, hit up Madison Avenue to see America’s favorite department stores.

What to Pack

The weather in New York varies season to season, and can change in only a moment’s notice, so be up to date with a local weather network for the most current forecast. But the best advice I have? Look fabulous and bring an empty suitcase!
