Trashed

BC Fashion Week took a walk on the wild side with Dussault Apparel. The show somehow merged a theatrical carnival circus with the rock-and-roll spirit of designer Jason Dussault, who conveniently got to hang out in LA with Kid Rock, Gene Simmons, and Criss Angel during fashion week. Lucky guy!

Strange but artsy, it would have been apropos for Halloween night, with the Blair Witch vibe that was strengthened by the models who had scrapes and tattoos over their bodies and delivered a tough-guy stare directly at the audience.

The Trashed Tees are made from 100% cotton using Shibori, a traditional Japanese technique that results in soft shirts that always keep their crinkle. The Trashed Denim is no doubt the coolest part of the collection. Hand-sewn, painted, dyed, and washed 13 times – for good luck! The details on the Canadian-made jeans put their Rock & Republic counterparts to shame.
