Whether falling asleep while watching The Hour or after having a few too many cocktails, we've all woken up looking a little like Alice Cooper. Mascara smudged and smeared under the eyes is almost as dreaded as the streak effect after swimming or tears.

Kiss Me Mascara by Blinc forms tubes around your lashes, instead of coating them in colour. The mascara's website claims that "once applied, the tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes."

Initial application produces an inky black coat that neither particularly lengthens nor volumizes lashes. Instructions state that you can re-apply until desired effect is achieved (as long as lashes have not yet dried) but less is definitely more as clumping is the only result after a few more swipes.

If a dramatic look is what you’re after, a thick liner or smoky eye will simply swallow up Kiss Me Mascara’s lashes. For a more natural yet defined worry-free lash, Kiss Me Mascara will give you a water, streak, and rub proof look.

Serial non-face washers will wake up after using Kiss Me Mascara with but a few flakes under and around the eyes, with the tubes still intact. No need for makeup remover to discard the rubber-like tubes; warm water and gentle pressure will slide them off, while pulling out surprisingly few lashes.
