In one corner we have the cult classic favorite Lip Venom, weighing in at 3.5 mL, donning a sexy compact size great for going to the club or carrying around in your backpack for quick touch-ups in class.

In the other corner we have the always-favorite Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss in Sip of Lemonade, weighing in at 6 mL in a sleek statement package that screams luxurious.

In the first round both contenders have a pleasant aroma – a sweet cinnamon heat for Lip Venom and a subtle candy-like fragrance for Dior Addict. This round goes to Dior Addict, as the smell is subtle and non-distracting.

In the second round, the feel of the lip gloss it up for debate. As it states, Lip Venom is a spicy lip gloss; the gloss tingles your lips until they reveal a plumped-up pout. Dior Addict glides on the lips, yet leaves a sticky, glossy texture and could be a bit heavy for some. Lip Venom would have to take this round.

Finally, in the last round, we take a look at what really matters Which gloss reigns supreme in shine? Let’s take a look at the facts. Lip Venom will tingle your lips to reveal a plump, pink pout and contains tiny reflectors in the gloss, which leaves a subtle hint of shimmer. Dior Addict will leave you with a pure mirror-like shine in a single swipe. Ultimately, this title is for shine. Though Lip Venom is equipped with all the bells and whistles, the simplicity of Dior Addict is what makes it so ingenious and the perfect gloss for shine. It simply gives your lips the ultimate shine and lasts longer than most other glosses we tried.
