do's and dont's for the summer

Obviously, there are no rules set in stone, but here are some general guidelines to make it through the season!
- Ditch the black eyeliner. It’s summer for crying out loud. If you have to go dark, try a forest green instead.
- Do even-out your tan when you’re showing some leg. There is nothing sexy about sun-kissed arms and ghostly legs.
- Never ever leave the house without sunscreen. The most common mistake? Forgetting your feet are exposed. Make sure every inch of you is covered!
- Chipped nail polish on your toes is about as attractive as chewed nails and split ends. This is the season for your feet to shine! Don’t let them down.
- Mix up your fragrance. Heavy, musky scents are not summer-friendly.
- Don’t forget to moisturize. Lying in the sun for extended periods of time and swimming in the ocean cause skin to dry out..
- Change your facial moisturizer; GLOSS girls know that the key times to change moisturizers are in the summer and wintertime. It is most common for your skin to produce more oil in the summer — adjust accordingly.
- Don’t forget your brows! A lightly tinted brow gel will not only keep your brows in shape, it’ll add some color to them, preventing the “Where did your eyebrows go?” inquisition.
